The new online store of Ktima Kir-Yianni “WH10”, activated on the 5th of December 2019, will give winemaker Stellios Boutaris the chance to share his favourite rare labels with wine lovers in Greece and abroad.
“We welcome you to our online store – Warehouse10.gr which was created in order to share with you wines that are special to me. A few times a year I will bring here vintage wine bottles from our property as well as special labels that have not got on the market yet ,and so, be able to share with you some of the “treasures” of our warehouse!“ Stellios Boutaris explains.
The “10” warehouse of the Ktima Kir-Yianni was built in 1994 in Yiannakohori to house the oak barrels where the Xinomavro, Merlot, Syrah and other varieties mature and get their best aroma and flavour.
In the following years the warehouse welcomed all the produce of our estate, be they ready for use products or still in the process of making. In 2016 the barrels are taken to the new underground cellar as the original warehouse cannot provide shelter to the ever increasing needs of the wine factory.
Three years later the “Warehouse 10” revives in the digital world. By means of the “Warehouse 10” platform wine lovers and connaisseurs who appreciate the Kir-Yianni varieties are given access to unique products and tailor made services such as the chance to purchase landmark vintage wines, labels that are not on the market yet and the chance to participate to events and tastings.
