In 2019, Ktima Kir-Yianni fulfilled its goals to a large extent, which fills us all with satisfaction, joy and greater optimism for the future.

Wine sales of Ktima Kir-Yianni in Greece have been rising for yet another year. At the same time, two new labels were released in the Greek market in 2019, the white and red “Ble Tracter” (Blue Tractor) and the Ktima Kir-Yianni “The Fallen Oak”, the next page of the well known blend of the Yianakohori label.

At  the winery in Amyndeon, we launched a major investment in upgrading its production capacity, expanding the warehouses and creating a new aging cellar.

At Ktima Kir-Yianni in Naoussa, we have created a new space for the aging of – mainly red – wines of Kir-Yianni for the harvests from 1995 to 2015. Always faithful to our motto “Innovation Builds Tradition”, we have launched a new online platform, www.warehouse10.gr, through which winemakers can procure some rare, old vintages of the Estate, as well as unique, unreleased labels.

In 2019, we increased the number of countries where we export to 37, adding five more markets in our portfolio: Albania – Brazil – Estonia – United Arab Emirates – Ukraine, enhancing  the extroversion of the wine industry.

We also paid great attention to the development of visitors’ accessibility and ways to increase the attendance of wine lovers at the winery, with a lot of events throughout the year.
