09.07.2019

Ktima Kir-Yianni was ranked 48th in the Top 50 List of the “World’s Best Vineyards”, an award conceived by William Reed Business Media. The awards were announced at a special event in London, on July 8th, 2019. The list includes an additional Greek winery, Domaine Sigalas from Santorini.

The list is voted by a prestigious academy comprising of nearly 500 leading wine aficionados, sommeliers and luxury travel correspondents from across the globe.

Stellios Boutaris, winemaker & CEO of Kir-Yianni, stated he’s thrilled and honoured to be on the list, among many prestigious wine estates of the world:

“I believe Ktima Kir-Yianni in Naoussa, is one of the most spectacular vineyards in Greece. Expanding over a hilly landscape of 56 ha, this vineyard was created by my father in the early 1970s, signposting a new era in the Xinomavro production and research in the region. I am proud to be continuing this legacy! Furthering the visitor’s centre is one of our key strategic goals for the years to come. We would like to invite all wine lovers to visit Greece’s estates and, of course Ktima Kir-Yianni in Naoussa!”
