Planning a winery visit in Northern Greece this October? At Ktima Kir-Yianni, this month brings a mix of seasonal wine tastings, food and wine pairings and harvest experiences across our estates in Naoussa and Amyndeon. In Naoussa, visitors can discover new menus by Executive Chef Kyriaki Fotopoulou, paired with Kir-Yianni wines, as well as a tasting dedicated to WAREHOUSE 10, our small-production and experimental wines. In Amyndeon, October is still harvest season. Visitors can follow Xinomavro from fresh grapes and must through fermentation, or explore three different expressions of Assyrtiko grown in the region.
Both estates are also open for winery tours and tastings throughout the month, including 26 and 28 October.

New Menus and Food & Wine Pairings at Kir-Yianni
From 15 October
Executive Chef Kyriaki Fotopoulou takes inspiration from local recipes and seasonal ingredients, reworking them with a fresh, contemporary approach while keeping waste to a minimum. The menus are designed around the wines as much as the food, with selected Kir-Yianni labels from Naoussa and Amyndeon paired with each course. Some of the new pairings also feature wines from WAREHOUSE 10, adding a more unexpected side to the experience.

Litte Chefs: A cooking workshop for kids
Sunday 18 October
A Sunday at the Estate for both little and grown-up wine lovers. Our younger guests join the team in the kitchen to make moustokouloura, traditional biscuits made with grape must, and settle in for a reading of the kid’s book “Agesilaos’ Moustokouloura”. At the same time, adults can enjoy the Estate at their own pace, choosing the wine tasting that suits them and pairing it with handmade bites from our award-winning kitchen.

Three different expressions of Assyrtiko
Every weekend of October
Three different expressions of Assyrtiko come together in one tasting: ASSYRTIKO The North, ASSYRTIKO TARSANAS Single Block and ASSYRTIKO ANCIEN.
Tasted side by side, they reveal both their similarities and their distinct character, offering a closer look at a grape variety that has found a natural home in the unique ecosystem of Amyndeon. It is a tasting designed to explore how place, vineyard and winemaking shape three refined continental expressions of one of Greece’s most distinctive white varieties.
