On Wednesday, 26 June we had the pleasure to welcome at Ktima Kir-Yianni 250 agronomists and other professionals of wine sector from 22 countries who participated at the 21th GiESCO International Meeting (Group of international Experts for Cooperation on vitivinicultural Systems)
The hosting team of Kir-Yianni offered them a glass of Akakies Sparkling, the 100% Xinomavro, rosé sparkling wine and introduced them to history of Kir-Yianni and Boutari family. Then, the agronomists of the Estate made a short presentation of viticultural zone of Naoussa, the grape cultivation and the clones of Xinomavro.
The 21th GiESCO International Meeting is held for the first time in Greece, in Thessaloniki. It is organized by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and School of Agriculture during 23rd – 28th of June 2019.
