06.12.2018

At the beginning of December 2018 Ktima Kir-Yianni commercialized in the Greek market but also internationally two labels of the 2016 vintage, namely Diaporos and Ble Alepou.

Diaporos 2016

Diaporos is considered to be one of the best Greek red wines and probably the best Xinomavro although Syrah accounts for 12% of it in the bend. Kir-Yianni vineyard holding the same name was 45 years old in 2016 and produced the best xinomavro of the Estate. The most distinct feature of Diaporos is its intense aroma that frames its robust yet refined structure. Diaporos could age for 15 years for those who wish to savour the aging of a top Xinomavro. Diaporos is commercialized in cases of 6 bottles 750ml and in magnum bottles of 3 and 6 lt.

Ble Alepou 2016

Diaporos is well challenged by Ble Alepou a wine that though of different character share the top levels of the red wines produced by Ktima Kir-Yianni. 2016 was a great year for Ble Alepou! All six French varieties are mixed together in an exquisite manner offering unique aromatic volumes. The aging for this wine could be very long. Ble Alepou is commercialized in a case of 3 bottles and in a magnum bottle.
